Thank you for shopping with Curly At Hart. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not satisfied, or believe you have received a faulty or incorrect product, we are here to help.
To arrange a return, please email hello@curlyathart.com within 14 days of receiving your products with your name, address and order number.
If you believe you have received a faulty product, please attach a photograph of the item and the reason for your return. If your item is found to be faulty, we will offer you either a replacement (Curly At Hart will cover the shipping costs) or a full refund. Our products are classified as faulty if they are received damaged within 14 days. General wear and tear after this 14 day period does not constitute a faulty product.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Items can be returned within 30 days of the date you received your goods. If more than 30 days have passed, unfortunately we will be unable to offer you a refund or exchange.
Refunds:
On receiving your item, we will inspect it and if your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment. Refunds are typically processed within 48 hours of receiving your return, however, it can take up to 10 business days for your bank to process the refund.
Exchanges:
If you need to exchange an item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to product availability.
Shipping:
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend obtaining a proof of postage when returning an item. Please ensure your products are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. Where your product is found to be faulty, shipping costs will be refunded to you.

SILK PRODUCT QUESTIONS
Please tell me about the silk your products are made with?
We use 6A mulberry silk with a 22 momme weight. This is considered to be top-tier silk fabric, known for its exceptional quality, softness, smoothness, and durability.
The "6A" designation indicates that it is the highest quality grade within the mulberry silk classification system.
"22 momme" refers to the weight of the silk fabric. Momme (mm) is a unit used to measure the weight and quality of silk. A higher momme weight indicates a denser, more durable fabric. 22 momme is considered to be a luxurious weight for silk fabric.
Why should I switch to using silk pillowcases instead of cotton?
Silk is more gentle than cotton, reducing hair frizz and breakage, preventing hair from becoming matted or tangled while you sleep, resulting in more manageable, smoother hair. Silk pillowcases help retain the natural moisture of your hair and prevent it from drying out, keeping it hydrated and healthy.
And if that wasn't reason enough for switching to a silk pillowcase, they also have various benefits for the skin. Silk's smooth surface minimises friction, reducing the likelihood of sleep lines and wrinkles forming on your skin.

What are the benefits of using silk scrunchies and hair ties?
Silk causes less friction compared to traditional elastic hair ties, reducing the risk of breakage and damage to the hair. They are also less likely to leave creases or dents in your hair compared to regular hair ties, making them ideal for maintaining hairstyles without compromising appearance.
Your silk products are OEKO-TEK certified; what does that mean?
Our silk is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®; this is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for textile products. This means that our silk is certified to be free from harmful or toxic dyes and substances.
How do I wash my silk products?
While our silk pillowcases and are machine washable, we recommend hand-washing where possible, and we ALWAYS recommend hand-washing for all of our silk scrunchies and silk turbans.
Tips for machine-washing silk pillowcases:
-Wash pillowcase inside-out in a mesh laundry bag.
-Add a cap full of silk laundry detergent (do not use any fabric softener) to your washing machine’s laundry dispenser.
-Wash on a cold, delicates cycle at no more than 30 degrees.
-Hang to dry and avoid any heat or direct sunlight when drying. Do not tumble dry.
-While still slightly damp, iron inside-out on a silk setting to keep the soft, silky feel.
Tips for hand-washing silk pillowcases/scrunchies/turbans:
-Submerge the item in cold water; do not use hot water. Hot water will damage the silk fibres.
-Add a small amount of silk laundry detergent and allow it to soak for a few minutes.
-Gently rub any areas with stains with your fingers or a soft cloth, being careful not to rub too vigorously as silk is delicate.
-Drain the soapy water and rinse with cold water.
-Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric as it can damage the silk fibres.
-Lay pillowcases and turbans flat on a clean towel and roll it up to absorb excess water. Then, carefully reshape the pillowcase/turban and lay it flat on a dry towel to air dry. Avoid drying silk in direct sunlight and do not tumble dry.
-If needed, while still slightly damp, iron silk pillowcases inside-out on a silk setting. We recommend steaming silk scrunchies, instead of ironing.
Can I wear my silk hair turban to bed with wet hair?
Our silk hair turban should only be worn with dry hair.
